ROBERT J. FARLEY was born in 1952 in Bellerose, New York. Mr. Farley has tried many cases in both the Federal and State Court system, has argued appeals in both the Federal and State system, and has been involved in mediations and arbitrations, both as a representative of a party and as a mediator. He attended the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, and was awarded a B.S. in 1974. Thereafter, he attended St. John's University, School of Law, where he earned his J.D. degree in 1977. Mr. Farley is admitted to practice in New York, Florida and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to the Federal Bar in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association and the Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association. He has taught as an adjunct professor at St. John's University and has lectured extensively to hospital personnel.
MICHAEL H. HOLOHAN Jr. received his J.D. from
St. John’s University School of Law in 1980 and also an M.B.A. from St.
John’s University. Mr. Holohan concentrates his practice in the fields
of medical and dental malpractice and health law.
In addition to his many
years of experience trying complex medical and dental malpractice cases,
he has been Vice President and General Counsel to Our Lady of Mercy
Medical Center in The Bronx, New York. Mr. Holohan has also served on
the Boards of Trustees of Covenant
House and Ozinam Hall.
Mr. Holohan has lectured
at New York Medical College on medical-legal issues. He has represented
hospitals and physician practices in regulatory matters, employment
contracts, discrimination claims, faculty practice agreements and
professional corporation agreements. He has also represented hospitals
and physicians in discrimination matters before the EEOC and the New
York State Division of Human Rights.
Mr. Holohan is admitted to
practice law in the Courts of the State of New York, the United States
District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and
the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is an
active member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County
Bar Association and the Nassau/Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr.
Holohan is a Vietnam veteran, serving in the Army Signal Corps. He
received the Bronze Star and was honorably discharged with the rank of
captain.
DARYL R. GLOCKNER was born in 1948 in New York City. Ms. Glockner has tried numerous cases in the State and Federal court system. She has also authored appellate briefs and presented oral arguments in the Appellate Division. She earned her B.A. in 1969 and her M.A. in English in 1971 at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She attended St. John's University, School of Law, where she was awarded her J.D. degree in 1977. Ms. Glockner is admitted to practice in the State of New York as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association and the Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Glockner has been a guest lecturer at The Staten Island Hospital, The International Association of Financial Planners and various community groups.
ASSOCIATES:
MARK KHAVKIN was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. He earned his B.A. degree in Political Science and Russian Studies from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1993. He continued his studies and earned his J. D. from the Touro College, Jacob Fuchsberg Law Center in 1997. He has been an associate at several prominent Long Island firms. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
GRACEANN FARLEY was born in Bellerose, NY. She obtained her B.S. degree from St. John's University, Jamaica, New York in 1969, and her J.D. degree from St. John's University in 1972. She was an Editor for Matthew Bender and Callaghan Law Publishing and has been associated with several prominent in-house and outside counsel defense litigation firms before coming to Farley, Glockner & Halpern, LLP. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, and also admitted to the Federal Bar for Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
ROMAN
J. SHAKH He earned his B.A. degree in History and
Political Science, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the City University of
New York at Queens College in 2001. He obtained a J.D. degree from St. John’s
University School of Law, where he was on the Dean’s List. He holds an Advanced
Emergency Medical Technician certification and has worked in the Emergency
Medical Services systems of New York City and Nassau County since 2002. He is
admitted to practice law in the States of New York and Connecticut.
